Key Project Overview and Update
High Grade Kilgore Gold Project
The high grade Kilgore Gold Project is located in southeast Idaho and contains a historic global gold resource of 706,000 ounces. Click here to see current resource table.
Otis has made the high grade Kilgore Project their primary target based on available historical data and technical reports from past drill program dating back as early as 1983. Furthermore, Otis' technical team was responsible for a significant portion of the historical work on the property during their years with Echo Bay Mines.
From 1983 to 1998, major gold mining companies have spent more than $8 million on drilling, geophysical, geochemical surveying and metallurgical testing. A total of 197 diamond and reverse circulation holes have been drilled for total footage of 126,417 feet.
Based on the available data and the advancing of technology the Otis geological and technical team have developed a high-grade gold deposit model with the potential to reach over 2 million plus ounces of gold.
In December 2008 Otis completed a 4-hole drill program targeting high-grade zones based on the new high-grade geological model. The drill program was a success and hit high gold intercepts that helped prove up the high-grade geological model developed by Otis' in-house technical team. In July 2009 Otis initiated a 10,000 to 12,000 foot drill program that is being spread amongst 15 to 20 holes. Drill results will be released as they become available.

Kilgore Gold Project 2010
In June 2010, Otis commenced its US$2.5 million drilling program with plans to drill up to 8,000 metres at its Kilgore Gold Project located in Idaho, USA. Of this total, 6,000 metres is planned at Kilgore's Mine Ridge deposit and up to an additional 2,000 metres is currently being permitted at Kilgore's Dog Bone Ridge target. The latter constitutes a highly prospective drill target that has been the subject of both historic drilling and a successful 8.5-line km CSAMT Survey completed by Otis in November 2009. It is located approximately 1,400 metres southwest of the existing Mine Ridge deposit.
Two core rigs will be drilling will be on a 24-hour basis, with approximately 6,000 metres spread between a minimum of 30 holes located throughout four quadrants encircling the deposit's central Mine Ridge area. Drilling is designed, in part, to convert inferred resource material into the indicated category and to drill in-fill and step-out holes to both upgrade the current resource and to test for further resource expansion where the deposit remains open. Part of the drilling will also focus on in-filling and off-setting higher-grade historic intercepts near and along the Cabin Fault and its contact with an adjacent Tertiary rhyolite dome, the possible source of mineralization for the Kilgore gold system. The program will also concentrate on off-setting and extending to the south higher-grade intercepts found by Otis during its 2008 and 2009 drilling of the Mine Ridge deposit core target area. Drilling will be on-going throughout the entire 2010 field season, with program completion slated for early December.
Mine Ridge Pre-Feasibility Study
Otis has initiated activities required to complete an independent Pre-Feasibility Study on the Mine Ridge deposit. Highlights of the study will include resource delineation, deposit engineering, infrastructure review, and cost assessment work, as well as the results of current detailed metallurgical testing and the upcoming approximately 6,000-metre resource drilling program for 2010. Completion of the study is scheduled for 2011. Otis is currently reviewing proposals from several independent consulting firms and expects to confirm the appointment of a primary contractor by June 2010.
